At our April 19th LTTA meeting the following tenants kindly offered to help out when we are trying to connect with our Arabic only speaking neighbours.

Nabil El AL – 647-719-7878

Husam Hussein – 647- 997-7782

Naglaa Soliman – 416-522-6644 (available until May 16 only)

We don’t want to take advantage of these individuals’ generosity.
For major concerns related to a specific unit etc. please direct them to go to the office rather than calling the people named above. The office will make the necessary contacts.

Where the family needs help with everyday activities or issues (for example: Where is the library, banking information etc.) please call Nabil or Hasam who will provide the needed translation.

Other resources:

The Tenants Guide has been translated into Arabic and each Syrian newcomer has been provided with a copy. If they have their orientation package handy, we could direct them to that guide for information about Leaside Towers services and facilities.

Sheren Habib, the Pharmacist at Pharmasave (RBC building) has also offered his transation services. He can be reached most work days between 9:30am and 6pm Monday – Friday at 416-421-9359 .
