Covid is not over!
Please help keep our buildings safe!
Please wear your mask to protect your family, yourself and your neighbours and remember to physically distance in elevators and other confined places!
You may not know that just six months ago 95 Thorncliffe was the worst Covid hotspot in the GTA. You may not know that that a large number of your neighbours got sick with Covid, some were hospitalized for weeks or months and several still suffer from long term Covid effects. You may not know that that most of the residents on certain floors were infected. You may not know that the daytime security guard in 85 Thorncliffe died of Covid.
A new report from the World Health Organization demonstrates the importance of these simple, yet powerful measures. Wearing a face mask cuts the risk of getting Covid in half. So does hand-washing. And social/physical distancing cuts the risk by a quarter.
Please get yourself and your kids vaccinated if you haven’t already!
Studies show that vaccination alone greatly reduces the chance that Covid will kill you. That said, it hasn’t stopped Covid rates from skyrocketing as economies and schools open, temperatures drop and people crowd indoors. Some countries that had been opening are again introducing restrictions as well as the prospect of new lockdowns. Vaccination + masking + distancing are a bummer but the best available information tells us it’s the way to go.
Yes, it’s still the law!
Everyone is expected to wear a mask or other suitable face covering in all indoor common areas. This includes the elevators, lobbies, corridors, laundry rooms, recreation facilities, garbage rooms, garage areas, storage locker areas, and tunnels. The mask or other covering must fully cover your nose and mouth.

Welcome to our building website, a service of the Leaside Towers Tenants Association (LTTA). The website includes information from the LTTA, the Library, the Getaway Club, and Morguard Management. This site is run independently by tenants, for tenants, and is not operated by Morguard.
The What’s New area on the home page will provide the latest updates regarding life and activities at Leaside Towers.
There have always been many participatory activities at Leaside Towers and, post Covid, we expect to offer them again. The Events Calendar can help you find one that suits you.
We are always looking for new LTTA members and we invite you to join us. It is easy and very inexpensive and the Membership page highlights how to join.
Volunteering is a wonderful way to get involved with the LTTA. Our Steering Committee wants to hear your ideas and suggestions for making Leaside Towers a great place to live.
