Here is the latest COVID-19 Vaccine Update from Jaye Robinson including details on eligibility of all residents aged 50 and older to receive a vaccine at one of the City of Toronto’s mass immunization clinics.
On Thursday, May 6, all Toronto residents aged 50 and older will be eligible to book a COVID-19 vaccine appointment at a City-run immunization clinic.
For those living in one of the Province’s designated hot spot postal codes, the age of eligibility at City-run clinics has been lowered to residents 18 and older, effective today (May 3).
The Province has also announced that individuals who fall under the ‘highest risk’ and ‘high risk’ health condition categories, as well as those included in ‘Group One’ of employees who are unable to work from home will become eligible to book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment at a City-run immunization clinic as of Thursday, May 6. You can find more information about the conditions and workplaces included in these groups on the Province’s website, here.
Eligible residents can book an appointment at one of the City’s immunization clinics through the Provincial booking portal or by calling the Provincial Vaccine Information Line at 1-833-943-3900. Residents can also continue booking appointments at hospital and health partner-run vaccine clinics through the VaccineTO booking and registration portal.
